Admission – Asking for Help is Often the Most Difficult Step

Not an easy thing for most of us, which is why we believe the admission process needs to be clear, informative and timely. We have developed an admission process that provides a supportive and personalized approach. Our admission counselors are available to see you through every aspect of your admission process. Our interest is in helping you and your family understand the treatment process and help ease the anxiety that naturally comes with entering treatment.

Admission Criteria

Persons admitted for treatment must be:

  • Over the age of 25 years.
  • Medically and Psychiatrically stable to participate in our program
  • Prepared and motivated to participate in a recovery program.

The Admission Process

A confidential pre-admission telephone assessment is conducted with all individuals seeking admission to Crossroads Centre. The purpose of this assessment is to gain an understanding of your specific situation with respect to your addiction history, physical and emotional health and determine appropriateness for admission. As part of the process we may also ask to speak with your physician or therapist for additional information.

Admission can usually occur within 1-2 days once the pre-admission assessment is completed. Following the confirmation of your admission, we will ask you to provide a security deposit to reserve your bed space for the agreed upon date. Your complete payment must be received prior to your arrival.

Cost

The cost of our 30-day program is U.S. $28,500. Each additional month up to six months is U.S. $15,000 per month. Full payment is required prior to admission. Payments may be made by one of the following means: wire transfer, cash, credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Discover Card, VISA) or certified bank draft. See Program Costs under the Programs tab for additional information
