At Crossroads Centre, Antigua we believe that Alumni Services play an important role in the recovery process. The primary function of an Alumni Association is to serve as a bridge to recovery to help new graduates connect with established graduates and 12-step groups in their community when they return home. Stepping outside of the safe and secure boundaries of treatment can be an overwhelming experience as newly discharged clients grapple with finding the right meetings, selecting a sponsor, and connecting with continuing care resources while at the same time continuing to address their individual recovery issues. Easing this process of re-entry and supporting people in their ongoing recovery is what the Crossroads Centre Alumni Association is all about. Your input is welcome and your involvement is critical to the further development of the Alumni Association. Please contact alumni services with your ideas and keep in touch with respect to how you are doing and how we at Crossroads Centre, can further enhance your recovery experience.
