Joyce Williams, RN
Miss Joyce. E. Williams is a graduate of the Wesley High School, Roseau, Dominica, class of 1980-1985.
Joyce entered the School of Nursing, Antigua, in the year 1986 then graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1989. She is also a Certified Midwife from the class of 1990. She then worked as a staff nurse/midwife at the Holberton Hospital from 1990 to 1998.
Joyce has been employed at Crossroads Center since August 17th 1998. Because of her love and passion for this area in nursing and her willingness to accept challenges, she strives to achieve her goals.
Joyce was awarded Employee of the Quarter in 2005 and subsequently Employee of the year 2005.
Joyce has been the head nurse for the past ten years managing a team of four fulltime nurses and four contingent nurses. She is also a member of the INTNSA (International Nurses Society on Addiction).
In August 2016, Joyce obtained training at The Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, Rhinbeck New York on Mindfulness Based Relapsed Prevention.
In Nov 2017, Joyce successfully completed ten weeks Management and Supervision Training at the University of the West Indies, Antigua Open Campus.
