Outreach & Communications Liaison
Robbin Mooney has worked in the addiction field since 1998 in various business development, public relations and marketing roles. She was the Director of National Outreach for Shades of Hope, a residential and extended care treatment center based in Buffalo Gap, Texas, which specializes in the treatment of eating disorders.
For 16 years, she was employed by Willingway Hospital, a nationally renowned alcohol and drug dependency treatment center in Statesboro, Georgia, as Director of Communications, Marketing Coordinator and Special Events Coordinator. Her responsibilities included business development, public relations, advertising, community and alumni outreach and fundraising.
Over the past decade, she has volunteered with MusiCares, which was established by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. MusiCares was created for musicians to have a place to turn in times of financial, personal or medical crisis.
Early in her career after college, Robbin studied at the Institute of Studio Makeup, Hollywood, California, and was a professional makeup artist for many years, working in film, television and photography. She continued her career in makeup artistry for over 25 years and won several awards for consistent excellence.
Robbin is professionally certified to teach yoga and has completed the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.
